Our Story
Raíces Bookkeeping was born from a simple belief: Latino entrepreneurs, contractors, and family-run businesses deserve bookkeeping and tax services that truly speak their language, both culturally and literally.
My journey, which began more than 10 years ago as a side hustle, was rooted in a deep desire to help Latino entrepreneurs. I started by assisting a C-39 roofing contractor (¡saludos, Yankee Roofing Construction!) and a Latino Shopify store owner, SinFrenosLA.
I understand the challenges you face, from juggling receipts between the truck console, the kitchen counter, and your inbox, to the stress of not knowing where your money is going.
I also saw how many Latino and bilingual business owners never felt represented in traditional accounting firms. Too often, the industry speaks in confusing jargon or ignores culture altogether.

Hola, I’m Cristian, an Enrolled Agent, bookkeeper, and proud founder of Raíces Bookkeeping.
With over a decade of experience in the industry, I've worked with a diverse range of clients, from roofing crews to eCommerce entrepreneurs, and family-run businesses across Los Angeles and beyond providing them with the financial clarity they need to succeed. I’ve seen how messy books and tax stress can hold back hardworking entrepreneurs.
In 2024, I became a licensed Enrolled Agent with the IRS, which means I can represent clients directly before the IRS. But for me, it’s about more than credentials. It’s about representing nuestra comunidad.
I know the long hours, the stack of receipts, and the worry that comes every tax season. And I know how powerful it feels when your numbers finally make sense.
